I recently had the chance to listen to The Project: A Novel by Courtney Summers.
Our local library book club mentioned this book during a recent meeting. Since it was available from my library, I decided to download and listen to it.
Honestly, I had a hard time getting into this book. I’m not entirely sure why, maybe because I had a hard time connecting with the characters. But I muscled through it.
One reason I stick to reading / listening to books that don’t resonate with me is because I can put on the headphones and listen while I’m working around the house. This makes it easy to tune in and out. I admit I miss some things, but this is why I’ll listen to an audio book at least twice while I have it checked out.
The Project: A Novel is my first book for March 2021. It is also the first Courtney Summer’s book I’ve read. I’ve had some extra time in March, and it has been great to expand different genres and authors not often on my reading list.
