I’VE BEEN interested in getting back into real estate investing. Even after the real estate collapse and financial crisis of 2007, 2008. I still think real estate is the best vehicle to financial independence and wealth. I ordered The Book on Managing Rental Properties: A Proven System for Finding, Screening, and Managing Tenants with Fewer Headaches and Maximum Profits (BiggerPockets Rental Kit (3))  a few years ago, and just getting around to reading in April of 2021.

Social distancing and not having a day job has left me with plenty of time to study real estate investing. I’ve dedicated some of my free time to really digging into my failures from the past. I even wrote an entire document outlining my early real estate career. I’m hoping that analyzing my mistakes and spending more time researching and studying, I’ll be able to educate myself and become a better real estate investor should that opportunity arise in the future.

I discovered Bigger Pockets in 2020 as I was researching real estate investing. Little did I know that my local library had Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat: The BRRRR Rental Property Investment Strategy Made Simple one of the Bigger Pocket’s books, I was interested in.

Lucky or unlucky, this was also the time of the virus crisis so our library closed and told people to hold onto their materials. So I got to keep the book for more than the normal loan period. A great time to curl up on the couch and read. I think I read it a few times.

While Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat: The BRRRR Rental Property Investment Strategy Made Simple is a great book, and I was able to get this from my local library, It did not have the managing rental properties book. My feeling is that it would be a great resources to add to my personal library. I purchased this book about a year, ago and just now getting around to reading it in April 2021.

Thanks for following along.
