I ran across this digital book while I was absorbed in learning more about Bigger Pocket’s. It’s been sitting on my computer for awhile so I decided to take another look at it and write up my thoughts.

I’m excited because this is Brandon’s first book, so let’s have a look. I’ve been reading several Bigger Pockets books so this of great interest to me.

This is a simplified road map to building wealth with multi-family properties I love the concept and wish I had read something like this early in my career.

The difficulty I have now in my late 40’s is figuring out how this all fits into my current life. One of the concepts Brandon talks about is creating a plan. What that plan looks like for me specifically is the most difficult part in this whole process.

What I though was investing years ago was just buying properties and pretending to be an investor. I lost a lot of money and with that a lot of time recovering from my mistakes.

Fast forward to 2020 where I’m married and have a kid, things are a bit different. My wife is also very conservative and risk adverse when it comes to investing.

How I blend all these variables into a plan moving forward is what I need to focus on. If I had to figure out where to start for me personally, I’d start building up funds for the downpayment of a rental property. In addition I’d also start look and evaluating more deals. Bottom line, I’m glad I have this and will keep it to refer in the future.
