What I'm Reading - The Road to Ruin - James Rickards

YOU WOULD think with the amount of reading that I’d be a able to grasp any subject or material.

Well you’d be wrong. I’ve been trying to get through this book for several months now. I ordered Jim Ricard’s “The Road to Ruin: The Global Elites’ Secret Plan for the Next Financial Crisis” because I was hoping to get more familiar with the financial markets.

I initially heard about the book through one of the various newsletters he publishes. I figured I’d take advanced of the free book, but I did pay for shipping and handling.

I’m glad I have the hard copy, since it is taking me so long to get through it. I think if I would have borrowed, I may have never finished or came back to reading it.

To be be honest it is very dry and boring, but important information, and for this reason I will finish it hopefully soon. I’m not criticizing the author at all, its just difficult reading with my limited background in financial markets.

I don’t always like buying books. But this one I got to keep in my personal library. And I’m glad I have it to refer to when I need a challenging read.

I created this article to remind myself that started this in 2017 and I’m still reading it in January/February of (2018). can you believe that?

Did you read it? What did you think?
