Here is what I found in the flyer for this week. All items are Free but the money comes back to you in a Menards Rebate. See store for details.

I rarely buy all the items. I try my best to keep things simple and get only what I need.
Personal Finance
Getting money back in the form of a rebate is not necessarily my favorite way to manage my finances. It’s money that I have to pull out of my pocket and as you know I don’t like doing this. I’d rather get the free item right away.
However, I’m willing to work with the rebates for several reasons. First, as I mentioned I do have more home improvement projects in the works.
Another reason I dislike the rebate forms is having to search for and fill out all those rebate forms. It’s not time well spent, but for now I’ll deal with it.
In addition since you are required to fill out the rebate forms you also need to mail it. So for all this free stuff, I’ll actually end up spending the $.46 for a stamp to mail in the forms and have to use my own envelope.
So for all those penny pinchers, the items are free, but you will spend time, and a few pennies for postage and envelope.
Hum!!, should I subtract that from the total I listed above? That’s sort of misleading. Oh well you get the picture. I wonder if Menards will ever make this process electronic? That would be ideal.
As I mentioned during other Menard Sales, I’m in the middle of an office remodel and bedroom remodel. So I’ll use up the rebates from purchasing these items.
For this sale I purchased 7 items.
I noticed several people re-selling these items online, I may try this out at some point, but for this trip, it’s just getting stuff I’ll use soon.
