Ok, so good question. I was asked if I’m using the sale price or the total savings price when I do these. To be honest I had no idea which to use. If you notice the receipt here you can see the sale price of the item was $.50, but the total savings/retail price was $1.00.
When I looked at the other receipts from last month, I don’t think I noticed the regular price of some of the items. For this one I’m taking the “Today’s Total Savings.”
Jewel also ran a Facebook promotion and offered a free item on February 3rd only. It was for one frozen Pad Tai dinner. Now, I’m wondering how to keep track of all the free items? For now I just added it to my weekly report.
