Lesson learned from today
I usually get up early on Saturday morning and walk to my local Jewel. Before I start walking I log onto the Jewel-Osco app and clip the free coupons for the day.
I think I’m getting lazy. We went to the Cary fireworks yesterday, so it was a later night. I didn’t get up until after 6pm. That’s late for me. I didn’t feel like walking so I took the truck.
They removed the count down clock from the email. A minor change but thought I’d mention it here.
You may notice a difference in the savings total in this article. The image of me with my receipt shows a total savings of $6.98. The total in the written part above shows a total savings of $5.00. Here is why.
Jewel-Osco differentiates between total savings and promotional savings. If you take another look a the receipts you will see the two numbers listed. I just thought I’d point that out.
I know there are a lot of people who won’t go walking around the store to find one free item. But that is why you should follow me. I’ll do searching and hunting for you.
- The Chloe’s Pops are in the frozen food section. The Crystal Lake store has these in an end cap.
- The soda is in the soda aisle, but I found ours on an end display.
- The M&M’s are at the front registers.
