Lesson learned from today
I usually get up early on Saturday morning and walk to my local Jewel. Before I start walking I log onto the Jewel-Osco app and clip the free coupons for the day. Wonderful weather Crystal Lake this morning for a walk.
I found the drinks in the pop aisle of my local store. The Poppables were on display in the front of the store.
You’ll notice there are two recipes in my main photo of this article. When I first checked out I was told they were out of the Lemon-Lemon Lemonade. I did see the peach flavor on the shelf but I’ve been burned before with the whole “flavor” debacle. I did ask several people as was told they were indeed out of it.
However, after attempting to get a rain check for this one of the cashiers suggested we try scanning the peach flavor and see if it the register would take it. Sure enough, the peach flavor was also part of the promotion, just in case you were wondering.
Scanning another flavor was a great idea and I’m thankful for the suggestion of the cashier to try another one. This saved me another trip to the store. Not that I need to be saved from another trip but It helps to have this all at once so I can create this article for all you people following and commenting on my articles.
I’m still playing Monopoly, and got my tickets too!!!
