Dave’s Pin Collection
Who remembers Phar-Mor? Am I dating myself by posting this article? Are you a pin collector?
Initially I collected pins as a memento of the places I’ve traveled to. Pins are a nice small souvenir, which don’t take a lot of space.
My mother used to like shopping there for the double coupons you could use. That is about all I remember. Maybe mom stills remembers or maybe my sisters will remember. I wonder if I need to collect points or something. I really don’t remember.
Phar-Mor has long been out of business, but I still have this collection and wanted to write an article about it to share with you.
When I collected beer steins these took up more space and were more difficult to shuffle around when I moved. I’ve sold off the beer stein collection, but have managed to hold onto the pins.
