My second car was this 1967 Ford Galaxie 500, with a generous 390HP engine. This was way too much power for how young and inexperienced I was.

As I reflect on this now it still seems ridiculous that i was issued a ticket for destruction of public property.
Sure I ended up in the front yard of someone’s house and skipped over the sidewalk. But really it was just some yard work.
