I’ve had this book for years. My older sister gave it to me for my 23rd birthday. Now that I’m looking through it again. I noticed it was way back in 1996. Wow! how time flies.
I read this back when I received it as a birthday gift. Now that I’m blogging, I felt compelled to start writing about books in my personal collection as well as books that have had an influence on me.
As I’m writing this article I’m also thumbing through the book. It’s interesting to re-visit books like this when so much time as passed.
There are books that I just can’t seem to dispose of even though I’m working my best to reduce and eliminate things I no longer need. There is that minimalism in me kicking in.
Books are different. If it is a book that was given to me or autographed by the author then I have a much harder time parting with it.
It’s books like these that are in my personal library collection and one’s I don’t think I’ll dispose of any time soon. For the next few months I’m going through my collection and revisiting/reacquainting myself with my books.
This is a great time to also thank my much older sister for giving this too me.
Thanks sis!!! Love ya!
