Converting Fandango Monopoly Rewards was not my idea. Special thanks to Barbara, and Rachel from Mashupmom. This article was inspiration from one of your recent post: Jewel freebie shopping, Monopoly, and how are the organic Doritos?
I created step-by-step instructions on how to convert your Fandango rewards to Virtual Visa gift cards and ultimately for Amazon Gift Cards.
I don’t really have the need for movie tickets, so I was very excited to discover others were converting their Fandango Rewards to Virtual Visa Gift Cards.
Once you have the Visa Card you can redeem this on any merchant that accepts them. Since I’m a big fan of Amazon, it appears you can also use the Virtual Visa to purchase Amazon gift cards.
Here are the step-by-step directions.
- Log into your my monopoly account, and select Code History from the top.
- Scroll down the list until you see your Fandango rewards. Click on the Redeem Rewards.
- One you click on the “Redeem Here” link you will get a notice shown here.
- Click on Continue, and then you see this.
- Select the third option, $5 Towards the purchase of digital content online.
- Complete the form.
- Click continue to receive your Virtual Visa Card number.
- Now go to Amazon and search for gift cards.
- Select Amazon eGift Cards.
- Choose enter amount. Enter $5.00
- Proceed to the check out.
- Enter the Virtual Visa card number to pay.
- Review your order.
- Place your order, and that’s it. Check your email for the Amazon eGift Card. In this case I sent the gift card to myself.
Have you redeemed your Fandango rewards for something else? Have you used your ritual Visa card for something else? Please comment and share below.

Thanks for these instructions!! Have you discovered a way to do this for the 2018 game?
Have a great day!
Dave
Thanks for asking,
I have about 100 of fandango tickets so far this year 2018. I have not had a chance to test out redeeming they yet for this year.
I’m really curious too.
I’ll try it soon and let you know. Have a great day.

Kelly Casillas Mora
Hi Dave..
Kelly here in SoCal. My Fandango prize options are not the same as you mentioned. 30 tokens=$5 Fandango rewards
Option 1 * Fandango, Buy movie tickets
Option 2 * Fandango Fanshop, movie gear, collectables
Option 3 * Fandango Now, instantly watch movies on your fav. device
My questions for you ..Would option #3 be the same as online digital content
After 4 years of playing the game I would really love a gift card or something besides a free bagel or a bottle of aspirin. Are my options different because I use Albertsons shop/play/win to enter my codes? I’m stuck because Option #3 (watching movies on my device)would be my last choice. I would rather spend the 30 tokens on a “Groot” action figure or pair of Spiderman socks. I’m Just trying not to get Schleprocked again this year
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
The options from this article are from last years game 2017, not 2018.
This year it does not appear they are using the visa GC as an option. Which could then be used to purchase amazon gc.
I have not redeemed any fandango point yet this year. Although it appears you discovered the three options available.
I have several bottles of free Asprin and donuts bagels too.
Thanks for the comment. Have a great day.

Does anyone know what the monopoly game pieces are that sat “mon-E11” instead of the normal “mon-11” small print…because these special ones don’t match the numbers on the game board for some reason could they be for online redemptions?
Dave Gates
I didn’t notice this one. But maybe someone else has more info.
Take care
